West Anglia Routes Group Progress 2006 to 2008

With nearly two years passing since the May 2006 seminar organised by the North London Strategic Alliance to discuss the West Anglia Routes, an update was prepared which highlighted successes including:

The formation of a funded West Anglia Routes Group to push for much needed investment.

The West Anglia Routes moving from a low priority, long term aspiration, to being recognised as a national priority by the Government.
-
Timetable for completion of major improvements, including four tracking, brought forward from post 2022 to 2018/19.
